 Arxax Wins University of Cambridge King’s College Entrepreneurship Award

Arxax is the very proud winner of the University of Cambridge King’s College Entrepreneurship Prize. 

This is a prestigious annual award presented by the King´s College Cambridge to alumni to encourage the development of entrepreneurial ideas and concepts, where creativity and knowhow can be converted into sustainable commercial and social benefits. 

Elham Hassanzadeh presented H2LLO™ Smart in a “Lyons Den” format to an impressive judging panel of academic and industry giants, including Stuart Lyons CBE, Malcolm McKenzie, Adrian Suggett, Shailendra Vyakarnam, Lorraine Headen, Hermann Hauser and Gemma Chandratillake.

The winning solution is the Arxax software H2LLO™ Smart. This is an independent, impartial platform for carriers, logistics service providers and shippers dedicated to the measurement, calculation and reporting of carbon emissions in the transportation sector.

It makes emissions calculation straightforward, transparent, and accessible for all companies, irrespective of size. The platform allows us to work with both shippers and carriers to automate primary data capture and give them easy and timely access to emissions reporting.

And one BIG benefit of our approach is we are independent and impartial – raw transport data is shared with us, and the customer gets their emissions results – we protect the sensitive data of the transport companies, simply sharing their results.

After the final, founder and judge of the competition, Stuart Lyons (KC 1962) praised the winners, saying: “We were delighted that this year’s finalists brought forward innovative proposals which were commercially grounded and could create significant and sustainable benefits.”
